The City of Sylvester, Ga., Selects McLean Engineering for Make-Ready Fiber Support

The City of Sylvester, Ga., recently selected McLean Engineering to provide make-ready engineering services in support of their municipal broadband rollout. In this process, McLean will help prepare the city’s utility poles to receive fiber attachments.

The city announced In late 2020 that it planned to expand its current fiber-optic high-speed internet already in place to be able to offer it to residential and commercial customers.

McLean works with many municipalities, cooperatives and state trade organizations to navigate through joint-use concerns by providing expertise in all areas related to broadband, joint-use and pole attachment matters.
