How the Government Shutdown Affects Co-Ops
It's Tuesday, October 1. Can you hear a pin drop in our nation's capital today? Well, no, not by any stretch. But as of early this morning, with the House and Senate failing to come to an agreement, the Federal Government entered into shutdown mode. So yes, in several offices and departments across Washington, D.C., things are probably a lot quieter than normal. CNN.com has a good reference page of who is working, who is not, and why.
